Ajman opens
its doors for construction

Under
the patronage of H.H Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler
of Ajman and Member of the UAE Supreme Council, The Emirate of
Ajman will be hosting the "Ajman Urban Planning Conference"
organized by its municipality between 19- 20 February 2007.
This conference is in line with the urban renaissance that the
emirate is witnessing and corresponds with the epic growth that
the rest of the UAE is experiencing. The Ajman Urban Planning
Conference will call specialists to share their experiences and
new visions in the field of urban planning and the development
of land and property.
These international
experts will showcase their projects and the lessons they have
learned, as well as their development strategies. Particularly
the conference will focus on the subjects and projects that have
not been fully discussed before in the U.A.E. It is expected
that participants will be able to gain a direct advantage from
these discussions with urban planners, architects and current
and future project managers from all over the world.

"This conference has been designed to promote awareness in
construction planning and to sustain development in the emirate.
This conference will focus on discovering the most advance forms of
urban planning and development that fits the needs of the unique
environment that exists in Ajman." said Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al
Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department.
"This annual conference will be the first step to develop a chain of
events and activities designed to discuss urban planning solutions
and the development of land, property investment, transportation and
infrastructure", he added.
It is worth mentioning that with the participation of 200
specialists in urban planning, architects, and land and property
developers, this conference will create a rare chance for
individuals and companies to draw from a net of ideas and
experiences, in the evolving field of construction planning. The
conference will showcase examples chosen from the Middle East, North
Africa, Europe, Asia and North America.
Above all this, the conference will bring during its 2 days, a
student contest and an expo for construction projects and workshops.
The conference will be held at the Ajman Kempinski Hotel, UAE.
