Last year (2006) saw Better Homes’ Commercial division
enjoy record highs as a flood of businesses from around
the world sought entry to the region. Clients include
the famous UK chemist, Boots, who has just recently
opened its first store in Dubai and Starbucks, the
world-popular coffee chain has also secured a location
in Ras Al Khaimah.
Better Homes’ attributes its success to a
location-focused approach securing exclusivity on many
major projects which include three buildings in the
region’s media hub Dubai Media City, totalling over one
million square feet. The company is also the exclusive
selling agent for Stargate, the $60 million children’s
theme park in Zabeel Park.
“Commercial property in Dubai is in high demand because
all the market forces are working in its favour.” said
Niraj Masand, Director of Better Homes’ Commercial
Advisory. “It’s always about location, location,
location – and when a city is developing as rapidly as
Dubai is – almost every business location flourishes
alongside it. We’ve worked hard to secure the right
product in the right location and this is now paying
dividends in terms of the number of clients who are
turning to us” added Masand.
Arlene Acero, Boots Manager, responded “Boots aims to
capture and serve the Middle Eastern market with a range
of health and beauty products under one roof. Working
with Better Homes has been fantastic and given us the
prime location required to launch in the region.”
Better Homes’ success, however, extends beyond the UAE,
with the company continuing to develop operations
through the Middle East and Asia in places such as KSA,
Jordan, India and Pakistan. |
