Work begins on one of Bahrain's largest ever infrastructure projects at Riffa Views Riffa Views Signature Estates has marked a major milestone with the signing of the BD 24.9 million (US $69 million) infrastructure contract with Cybarco Bahrain Ltd.

Under the contract Cybarco - in a joint venture with Tebet Enterprises - will undertake one of Bahrain's largest ever infrastructure projects to build roads, telecommunications cabling, electricity and water supplies for the luxury residential development.

At 270 hectares - approximately the size of 360 football stadiums - Riffa Views Signature Estates boasts almost 1000 luxury residences, an 18-hole golf course, a 9-hole short course, sports, leisure and school facilities. The size and complexity of the development represents Bahrain's biggest and most complex infrastructure project requiring the laying of over 160 kilometers of underground electric cabling - enough to circumvent the entire island of Bahrain - as well as almost 14 kilometers of rainwater drainage piping, 26 kilometers of potable water piping, 69 kilometers of telephone network cabling, 32 kilometers of street light cabling and 18 kilometers of roads.
