The demand for steel especially stainless steel is
increasing year-on-year every month as the construction
boom has encouraged many traders to set up more shops
and outlets in the UAE. Source : Zawya
In the last 2 years the Middle East region has seen
tremendous developments with million-dollar projects
across industries ranging from desalination oil amp; gas
petrochemicals to building of ultra modern hotels. Many
of these construction and infrastructure expansions have
invariably been translated into increased demand for
stainless and specialty steel.
The World Bank has recently reported that the economics
of the Gulf region continue to look upbeat with growth
rates forecast to stay at a high of 4.9 in 2007. With
such positive sentiments will the Gulf region present a
good potential for producers and traders looking to
expand their markets What are the sourcing
considerations and requirements of customers in this
region.
As
the world demand for stainless/specialty steels increase
