different methods referred to as the wet process and the dry
process. In the wet process, crumb rubber acts as an asphalt
cement modifier, while in the dry process, granulated or ground

as crumb rubber modifier (CRM) because its use modifies the
properties of the resultant hot mix asphalt concrete product.
